Description

Stone Cross Windmill was built around 1876-1877 by F Neve and Son of Heathfield for the Dallaway family. This tower mill is constructed of brick and faced with stucco. It features a ribbed conical cap topped with a ball finial. The mill has round windows with intact wheel-shaped glazing. Only two sweeps and part of the fantail remain. The tarred brick roundhouse extends beyond the ground floor of the mill.
