Description
This is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building, shaped like the letter "L", with red brick infilling, some of which is in a herringbone pattern. The roof is covered in tiles and hipped. It has casement windows. Two small gables face north and project outwards, supported by carved bressummers and brackets. These gables have carved bargeboards and pendants at the apex and angles, displaying a gryphon crest associated with the Duke family of Laughton Lodge. The building is two storeys high and has an attic within the gables. There are four windows facing north and four windows facing east.
