Description
Hydehurst is a house that was originally built as a farmhouse in the 17th century and later modified in the 19th century with a new front and window arrangements. The building has a timber frame, which is now covered with red brick in a Flemish bond pattern on the ground floor, while the first floor is tile-hung. It features a half-hipped tiled roof with a brick chimney stack located off-center. The layout follows a lobby entrance plan with three bays and consists of two storeys with three windows. The windows are casement style with three lights, and there is a plank door on the left side.
