Description

The Vicarage was built in 1744 as a school by Sir Henry Fermor, as noted by an inscription on the building. It is a two-storey structure with five windows, constructed from ashlar. The central portion, which has three windows, projects slightly and features long and short quoins along with a pediment above. The central first-floor window is round-headed with a keystone above it. There is a stone eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. The windows are set in stone architrave surrounds and retain their glazing bars. The entrance features a rusticated doorway with a flat hood supported by brackets. Additionally, a wing with two window bays was added to the east in 1894.
