Description

Gate Farmhouse comprises two ranges built parallel to each other. The rear range likely originated in the 17th century or earlier as a timber-framed structure, and was later faced with brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above. The front range dates to the 18th century. Both ranges have tiled roofs. Casement windows are present throughout. A distinctive round-headed window with two lights is located in the centre of the first floor, featuring a wooden mullion and diamond-shaped panes of glass.
