Description
This is an early 20th-century seafront shelter, built by 1930. The roof was re-tiled in the 1930s or later. It is made of wood with glazed panels and features a hipped tiled roof on a concrete base.
The shelter has a rectangular shape and is divided into six compartments. The roof includes small end gablets and has an overhanging eaves. The structure is supported by ten turned wooden posts, with two at each end and three along each side, which hold up the compartment walls. The upper parts of the walls consist of multi-pane square glazing, while the lower parts are solid wooden panels that include moulded dado rails and a plinth.
