Description

The Ostrich Hotel is an early 19th-century building forming an L-shape. It has two storeys and four windows on its north-facing front and four windows on its west-facing front. The ground floor is stuccoed, while the upper floor is clad in weatherboarding. An eaves bracket cornice runs along the top of the building. The roof is covered with slate and is hipped. The windows retain their original glazing bars. There are three porches, one centrally located on each front and one at the corner of the L-shape; these have pilasters and have been blocked and converted into windows.
