Description

Numbers 71, 73 (St Catherines), and 75 (Piper's Cottage) is a single building that was originally known as the Stage Inn and later became the home of the Piper family. This structure dates back to the 15th century and features a timber frame with plaster infilling. The ground floor has been rebuilt in painted brick. The south end of the building is close-studded, while the north end has squares of plaster infilling. It has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof and casement windows. The building is two storeys tall and has four windows.
