Description

Catsfield Methodist Church is an unusual church that was designed, built, and financed by a prosperous local builder named Henry Blackman. Constructed in 1912 at a cost of £4,000, it features two aisles and a tower with a broached spire at the south end. The church is made of stone and is designed in the Perpendicular style. It is noted for being an exceptionally good example of this architectural style, particularly for a Methodist church. The tower and spire serve as a landmark in the area.
