Description

Petley Lodge, formerly known as Bankside, is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century but was largely refaced in the 19th century. It stands two storeys high and features three windows. The south front is constructed of red brick and is tile-hung, while the east and west fronts are weather-boarded, and the north front is roughcast. The roof is made of slate. The windows are casement style. Notably, the east front includes a small gabled projection with a bay on both floors, which contains three pointed lights. The north front features windows with two or three pointed lights, along with a semi-circular porch that has a half-corniced roof and a round-headed doorway.
