Description

The Studio Chambers, originally an Independent Chapel, dates to 1817. It is constructed of red brick and is two storeys high, originally with three windows. The building features a parapet and a Portland stone string course. The windows are large and round-headed; those on the right side of the doorway are now obscured by the adjacent building at number 9, which has been built forward. A large round-headed doorway is present, framed by fluted pilasters, with a semi-circular fanlight above and a flat hood. It has double doors. The Studio Chambers forms a group with numbers 6 to 16, and The Old Hope Anchor Private Hotel.
