Description

The ruins of the Old Manor House are the remains of a small medieval manor house built by Walter de Scotney in 1250. The structure is made of stone rubble and is overgrown with ivy. The main part of the ruins features a gable end with two trefoil-headed windows, a pointed doorway, and a large pointed window above the doorway that has remnants of cusping for tracery. Additionally, there are smaller pieces of masonry present. The site is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
