Description

The Rose and Crown Inn is a 16th-century timber-framed building that was refaced in the 18th century with painted brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above. It features a gable at the south end of the front and has a tiled roof. The building includes casement windows and a doorway with a flat hood supported by brackets. A massive brick chimney breast is located on the south wall. The inn has two storeys and an attic, with a total of four windows and one hipped dormer.
