Description

Etchingham Station and the Stationmaster's House were built in 1852 for the South-Eastern Railway, designed by architect W Tress. This L-shaped building is in the Tudor style and constructed of ashlar with a tiled roof. The south wing, which serves as the house, has two storeys, two windows, a gable end, and a gabled porch. The east wing is a single storey with two windows and a gabled porch. On the north side, which borders the railway line, there is a canopy that extends the entire length of the up-platform.
