Description

Ades is an 18th-century house, originally called Eades. It is a three-storey building with five windows, constructed of red brick and featuring two stuccoed stringcourses. A wooden cornice sits above, topped by a brick parapet. The original windows retain their glazing bars. A deep brick porch with fluted stone Doric columns, rising five steps, provides access to double doors comprised of eight fielded panels. 19th-century additions extend to the east and west of the main block.
