Description

Beechland is a house dating from the 17th century with significant additions from 1837, located on Chailye Lane, Newick. The building is now sub-divided. The main portion was constructed in 1837, while the north wing is older, likely from the 17th century. It is three storeys high and features four windows. The house is built of ashlar. The east-facing elevation is characterized by four gables, a ground floor bay window, a first-floor bay window, and an oriel window on the first floor. The west front has two small gables and a gable end. A porch is present, distinguished by a shaped gable.
