Description

Lower Burrells is a restored 17th-century timber-framed house. The east front has plaster infilling between the timber framing on the first floor, while the first floor of the south front is tile-hung. The ground floor is built of red brick. A steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof tops the building, with two hipped dormers facing south. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring four windows on the south elevation and three on the east. The roof is a crown-post design. Modern casement windows have been installed.
