Description

Upper Burrells is an early 17th century timber-framed building that was refaced in 1735 with red brick and alternating grey headers. The area between the ground and first floor windows is stuccoed. It features a half-hipped tiled roof and retains its vertical glazing bars. Above the doorway, there is a panel displaying the initials S B (for Susannah Bradford) and the date 1735. Inside, there is an 18th century staircase.
