Description

Mackerells is a 16th-century timber-framed building, originally with red brick infilling, which was later restored and enlarged by W.H. Godfrey. It has a tiled roof. Casement windows are a prominent feature. A gable with an attic window is located at the north end of the front elevation. A modern wing has been added to the south end. The east front includes two short, projecting wings with tile hanging. The building is two storeys high and has six windows.
