Description
Saxon Lodge is an early to mid 18th century building that has been altered at a later date. It stands two storeys high, with an attic in the gable end and features a red tile roof. The first floor is finished in stucco, while the ground floor is constructed from flints with red dressings. The building has four windows, two of which are blocked, with flat arches and sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor windows are cambered and have keystones. There is a plinth at the base, and the entrance is covered by a pedimented doorhood supported by brackets. The door itself is six fielded panels with two glass panels.
