Description

Beards is a 18th century building with a front that likely belongs to an older house. It consists of two parallel ranges and is two storeys high with three windows. The ground floor is made of red brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung. The front range features a slate roof, and the back range has a tiled roof. The wide glazing bars are intact. There is a doorway with a flat hood supported by brackets, leading to a door with six fielded panels at the top of five steps. A brick chimney breast is located on the east wall. At the back, there is a former 19th century shop window that is no longer in use.
