Description

The Old Smithy is a house that dates back to the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The front is made of brick, featuring a first-floor string that breaks over the windows, while the ends are constructed of flint with brick dressings. It has an old tiled gabled roof with dormers and two large chimneys on either side. The building has a T-plan layout and consists of two storeys and an attic. The entrance front has three bays, hipped dormers, and 20th-century casement windows, with a central door located in a 19th-century gabled porch.
