Description
This is a 17th-century cottage located in Lambourn Eastbury. The structure is built of rubble and brick, with an exposed timber frame and brick infill on the roadside. It has a thatched roof, half-hipped in form, with a central ridge chimney, and two small eaves dormers. The front features a casement window to the right, a door second from the right, and 18th-century leaded casements with cambered heads to the centre and two doors to the left; these casements are glazed. There is also an 18th-century leaded casement in the gable facing the road, illuminating the attic space.
