Description

This chest tomb, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 13 metres to the south-west of the tower of the Church of St. Mary on the north side of Streatley High Street. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded base and top, with triangular pediments on each face that are flanked by acroteria. The tomb has a square plan, and its corners are adorned with rope moulding and roundels at the ends. It was formerly enclosed by a railing. The inscription on the tomb is illegible as of the last survey.
