Description

This early 19th-century building comprises numbers 33 to 37 on the south side of Castle Street. It is three storeys high and constructed of silver-grey brick with red dressings and a plain parapet. The front is asymmetrical, with three-range glazing bar sash windows. The ground floor features three altered shop fronts and four doors, all grouped under a continuous entablature and framed by narrow reeded pilasters with reeded caps. Each door has a rectangular overlight. The shop fronts have been altered to include small angular bays. A throughpassage is timber-framed.
