Description
HMS Racer Memorial is a monument located in Kingston Cemetery, built around 1864. It is made of Portland stone and features a four-sided stone monolith that stands on a pedestal, which is set on a granite base. The inscription on the memorial reads: "Erected by the Captain, Officers and ship's Company of H.M.S. Racer to the memory of their shipmates who died by accident and of yellow fever during the Commission for 1858-1862."
