Description

The Old Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century building, altered subsequently. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with an old tile roof. The farmhouse has three bays, two storeys and an attic. A chimney is located between the right-hand bays and to the flanks of the building. A dormer window is situated between the left-hand bays. The ground floor features coupled two-light leaded casement windows, and a four-panel door sits within a modern porch to the left-hand bay, flanked by leaded casements. A three-light leaded casement window is on the right-hand first floor. Timber lintels are present. To the left of the farmhouse is a barn of three bays, constructed of rubble stone and having steep-pitched gables. The central entry to the barn is flanked by raking buttresses.
