Description
The fountain located in the forecourt to the south of Tyringham Hall is a stone structure with a bronze sculpture, designed in 1928 by McMillan. It features a boat-shaped ashlar stone base set in a pool, with large reclining figures of Diana and Apollo positioned on either side of a central jet of water. The fountain includes relief carvings of seals and a Latin inscription, with seahorses at either end.
