Description

The farmhouse at Tathall End dates to 1625 and has undergone alterations. It is a two-storey and attic building constructed of small, coursed stone with coped gable ends and an old tile roof. There are three chimneys. The east front features a 19th-century dormer and three bays of three-light leaded casement windows, along with two doors, the right-hand casements being later 19th-century additions. A two-storey and attic addition was built in the early 19th century on the south end, featuring one bay of sash windows with sidelights on the ground floor. Reused 17th-century coped gables and kneelers are present. The west front incorporates a mix of sash and casement windows, some with leaded glass. The stacks have paired square shafts; the north stack is original stone, while the two south stacks have been rebuilt in brick.
