Description
The Church of St Mary is a parish church dating from the 14th century, with a 15th-century tower and a chancel that was likely rebuilt in 1881 by E.W. Stephens. It is constructed of ragstone and has a plain tiled roof. The west tower is unbuttressed and features small Perpendicular windows in its upper stage, while the lower windows resemble rectangular loops. The nave, also from the 14th century, includes an unrestored southwest window with a stretched quatrefoil design above two ogee lights. Inside, there is a small west doorway instead of a tower arch, and the nave has a tiebeam roof with pierced spandrels and crown-posts. The church is currently redundant and is being converted into a house.
