Description
This is a headstone located approximately 12 meters south of the east wall of Oglander Chapel in Brading. It dates from the mid-18th century and is designed in the Rococo style. The headstone features a curved top with a central hourglass, which is flanked by a cherub and a heavenly crown on the right, and a book and a pelican on the left. The inscription panel is elaborate and scrolled, but was illegible at the time of the survey.
