Description

South Cliff is an early villa built around 1830-1850. It is two storeys high and constructed of tooled ashlar stone. The building features a hipped slate roof with an eaves band and has flanking diagonal set paired chimneys. There are two windows on the front, with a slightly recessed window bay to the right. The first floor has glazing bar sashes with louvred shutters, while the ground floor has marginal glazed French casements. A fretted valance tent roof verandah with renewed supports adds to the character of the villa, which also includes a side porch.
