Description
This is a headstone located 2 meters west of the monument to J Orbor at All Saints Church in Freshwater. It dates from around 1717 and features a double curved head. The inscription reads "MORS EST INEVITABILIS" and includes a skull and crossbones. The inscription notes that James and Jane Osborne were drowned.
