Description
Rossitters is a former farmhouse, now a house, likely originating from the 17th century, with an early 19th-century L-shaped wing. The building is constructed of coursed stone rubble with white brick dressings and features a thatched roof, which has one brick and one stone chimneystack. The southwest front has one and a half storeys, including one eyebrow dormer and three later casement windows. The southeast front has two storeys, with two casements on the first floor and two 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor, which have cambered head linings. There is an outshut at the rear of the 18th-century part. The older wing contains a ground floor room with a chamfered spine beam and large square-cut joists.
