Description

Wellow House is an 18th-century house located on Main Road in Wellow. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble with a tiled roof and a brick chimney stack on the right-hand end. The house has two storeys and originally had two windows, now fitted with 16-pane sashes which have cambered head linings. A central, pedimented wooden doorcase features pilasters and a plaque carved with a dog. The entrance is a six-panel door with the top two panels glazed. The building was formerly known as Blake’s Farm.
