Description

Pigtails is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with evidence of its existence by 1793. It has been altered and extended in the 19th century. The building is constructed of stone rubble and features a thatched roof with end brick chimneystacks. It has one and a half storeys and includes two windows, along with two eyebrow dormers. The cottage has 19th-century casement windows and a simple cambered plank door topped with a 19th-century gabled weatherhood. There are later extensions on both the left and right sides of the cottage.
