Description

This is an early 18th century pair of back-to-back houses, known as The Rosary and The Hollies. They stand two storeys high with attics and basements, and each has a five-window front facing their gardens. The street facade has an M-shaped gable and is three bays wide, featuring blind openings above the party wall. The upper floors are constructed of brown brick with red dressings above stuccoed ground floors. The roofs are tiled, with a modern modillion eaves cornice on The Rosary and plain eaves on The Hollies. A three-bay veranda extends across the ground floor of The Hollies. A bow window is a feature of The Rosary. The interiors retain contemporary panelling.
