Description

The building is a house, built around 1740 with alterations in the 1840s. It is a narrow building constructed of stock brick, featuring an external brick chimney stack and a mansard roof covered in slate. The front facade was rendered in the 1840s. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two windows visible from the front. The attic contains a French window. A three-light canted bay window is present, supported by a cast iron balcony above, and the windows have marginal glazing. A two-storey extension, dating from the mid-19th century, is attached to the right side, characterized by a stepped parapet and a sash window. A flight of stone steps leads up to the extension. An original Georgian doorcase, complete with a decorative fanlight and pilasters, is located within the passageway. Interior features retain original doors, dado panelling, and a cast iron firegrate.
