Description

2, 4, and 6 Brewers Lane is an 18th-century building, which may have originally been a single house. It is constructed of painted brick and stands three storeys high with three windows across its front. The windows on the first floor have segmental arched heads, while those on the second floor are square-headed. All windows are flush framed sash windows. Each of the three bays features a Victorian shop front. There is a brick band and parapet at the eaves level. A fire plaque is present on No 2. Access to the building is now from 56 George Street, which is not included in the listing.
