Description
Templeton Lodge is a late 18th century or early 19th century, two-storey house located on the east side of High Street in Hampton Hill. The building is three windows wide and features a stuccoed exterior with a battlemented parapet. There is a dripstone and a moulded surround to the central window on the first floor. The front of the house is double flat bowed, showcasing curved window frames and sashes. This house was once home to the tenor John Templeton, who lived from 1802 to 1886 and was known for his performances in the first English productions of "Don Giovanni" and "The Magic Flute."
