Description
Clock House is a building dating from around 1700. It is constructed of brown brick with red dressings and features a single storey plus dormers, with pedimented dormers—two on the north side and two facing south. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, topped by a central clock turret that has vertical weatherboarding and an octagonal lantern with a lead ogee dome above. There is a timber moulded cornice at the eaves. The square-headed windows on the north and south sides have been replaced with sash windows. The east side has segmental-headed windows, each with two lights, timber mullions, and casements. The interior has been modernised, and the building has recently undergone renovation and partial rebuilding.
