Description
The Nightingale Public House is a public house from the mid-19th century. It stands two stories high with two bays facing Nightingale Lane and four bays facing Carlton Terrace. The entrance is located on a canted corner. The building is finished in stucco, and the upper windows have segmental heads with architraves and entablatures. There is a cornice and blocking course, along with channelled quoins. Above the corner, there is a small semi-circular pediment that is inscribed with "The Nightingale." The roof is slated. The ground floor features a pub front with coupled pilasters that support a cornice and entablature, along with blank stucco panels.
