Description
Nos 6 and 8 High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, positioned at right angles to the street. Both buildings are two storeys high. No 6 is covered in painted weatherboard and features a low-pitched slated roof. In contrast, No 8 is constructed from brown brick and has a low-pitched pantiled roof. There is a near-contemporary single-storey extension that has a flat roof and is also weatherboarded. Both cottages have double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath segmental brick arches.
