Description

The Vicarage and Vicarage End, built in the 1870s by C L Luck, is a two-storey house with an attic, featuring stone-faced walls and Gothic details, including ashlar dressings and quoins. The entrance facade has four bays, with a wider gabled bay at each end and a narrower gable in the third bay from the north. The roof is tiled, and there are rubble stacks.

The wide gabled bay at the north end projects forward and has a quatrefoil light in the attic. It features three-light transomed windows in a segmental headed opening, along with a five-light canted bay window on the first floor, which has an embattled parapet and iron catches for the window lights on the ground floor. There is a rubble stack against the north return of this bay, while the south return has a lean-to porch with a two-centred ashlar entrance and a footscraper, along with a two-light window on the first floor. The third bay has quatrefoil lights in the attic storey and three-light transomed windows in segmental headed openings on both the first and ground floors. The gabled bay at the south end also projects slightly forward and features three-light transomed windows with segmental headed openings in the attic gable and paired transomed windows on both the first and ground floors. Some contemporary fittings are present within the building.
