Description
This is a mid-19th century, two-story house located on Poplar Grove in Kingston-upon-Thames. The house has three bays facing Poplar Grove, a two-bay return to Acacia Grove, and a slightly recessed rounded corner. It is constructed of yellow brick, with the ground floor window dressings and door cases rendered in stucco, featuring stucco architraves and console-bracketed cornices. Upper-story windows have flat, gauged brick heads. Original cast iron window guards are present. A brick band runs between the two stories. The return elevation is similar in design to the front. The roof is slate-covered with deep eaves.
