Description

South Lodge to Grimsdyke was built between 1870 and 1872 by architect R Norman Shaw. This two-storey building is constructed of red brick, featuring tile-hung gables and stone dressings. It has a tile roof with a crested ridge and a prominent chimney stack. The lodge includes a single four-light mullioned window and a door set in a pointed arch beneath the sweep of the main roof.
