Description
The tomb of Edmund Crosse, who died in 1862, and his wife Laura Jane, who died in 1877, is located south of the east end of the Church of All Saints. It dates from around 1862 and is designed in the form of a Gothic tabernacle, featuring buttresses and finials on either side. The central part of the tomb has an open marble pillared feature topped with a gabled roof and a cross. Surrounding the tomb is an iron railing set on a low stone plinth. Edmund Crosse was a partner in the firm Crosse and Blackwell.
