It has a hipped slate roof with a moderately high pitch, complemented by two flat dormers. The exterior is finished in stucco with a parapet. The windows are renewed sash windows set in flush frames, adorned with moulded architraves. There are four steps leading to the entrance door, which consists of four glazed panels and two fielded panels, situated in a panelled reveal. The entrance is framed by a Roman Doric porch. To the right, there is a late 19th century two-storey wing with one window. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the west side of Crooms Hill, which includes Nos 54 to 68.
