Description
The west entrance gateway to Trent Park at Front Lodge is a late 19th-century structure. It features wide quadrant walls made of red brick, with a stone plinth and entablature, and returned ends. On each side, there are five square piers that are rusticated and adorned with stone bands, topped with stone caps and ball finials above the entablatures at intervals. The wall is panelled between the piers. At the center, the walls are finished with two larger piers that have finials shaped like urns and garlands, which support large, panelled wooden gates.
