Description

7 and 9 Gentleman's Row are a pair of buildings dating back to the 17th century, with a front that was added in the 18th century. The buildings are two storeys high and have five windows each. They have a steeply pitched tiled roof with dormers. The walls are red brick, with a plinth at the base. The sash windows have glazing bars and are topped with brick arches. The front door has six panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight with an intricate design of intersecting bars. There have been later extensions to the right-hand side. Nos 1 to 33 (odd), along with their associated walls and railings, and The Coach House, form a group.
